| Horseshoe Lake Improvement Association
Aquatic Invasive Species Control Program The Horseshoe Lake Improvement Association was awarded a matching grant to help us take action to prevent the introduction of invasive species into our lake. Our major emphasis is Eurasian Water Milfoil, but we are also concerned about Zebra Mussels and Purple Loosestrife. We need volunteers to inspect arriving and departing boats and trailers at the Horseshoe Lake and Echo Lake boat landings during the summer of 2009. Volunteers also provide invasive species information to landing users. If you are willing to volunteer, please email the association to let us know.
