I want to join the HLIA.    Enclosed are yearly membership dues of ____ $50 Per Property

SPECIAL NOTE TO NEW MEMBERS: All members should be aware of the fact that we have a major milfoil issue. Our property values, recreational usage, fishing, swimming, etc, will all be affected. Association officers and the board of directors are working very hard on a plan to control the issue. We have obtained a small rapid response grant. We have filed for a permit to treat 3 acres of the worst infestation during 2008.

We are working on raising $8,900 so we can pay the current bills and obtain an $8,000 Long Term Lake Plan (5 years) so that we will qualify for grants. We will pay 25% and the grants will pay 75%. We will need approximately $20,000 of our own money to do this. There are 204 places on the lake. This is $100 per resident ... a small price to pay to save your lake.

WE REALLY NEED YOUR HELP NOW TO PROTECT OUR BEAUTIFUL LAKE. YOU NEED TO PROTECT YOUR INVESTMENT AND YOUR ENJOYMENT OF YOUR PROPERTY.

It's either a donation of $100 or more now, or a much larger amount later. Without adequate funding, we will not receive the grants and the financial responsibility for the treatments will then be totally ours. PLEASE STEP UP TO THE CHALLENGE NOW.
